Joqqa Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Promise

We built Joqqa with privacy as our core design principle from day one, because we know your creative work is personal and belongs only to you. Unlike most apps, Joqqa runs entirely on your device, no account or cloud connection required. This policy explains exactly how we handle (or, more accurately, don't handle) any data related to your use of the Joqqa light-and-shadow collage studio.

By using Joqqa, you agree to the terms outlined in this privacy policy.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We have never, and will never collect any of your creative content or personal data when you use Joqqa. This includes, but is not limited to:

• No personal identification information: we don't require sign-ups, phone numbers, emails, or any personal details to use all features of Joqqa
• No creative content: all photos you import from your album/camera, textures you use, layer adjustments, draft collages, and finished high-resolution PNGs never leave your device unless you choose to share them yourself
• No usage tracking data: we don't track how often you use the app, which blend modes you prefer, how many layers you add, or any other editing behavior
• No third-party tracking: we don't integrate any advertising trackers, analytics tools, or data collection SDKs in Joqqa

Data That Stays Only On Your Device

All content related to your use of Joqqa is stored locally on your device's storage, completely inaccessible to us or any third parties:

• All your unfinished drafts and saved collage works stored in the app
• All photos, textures, and cutouts you import from your camera or local album
• Your custom app preferences, including your last used blend mode, canvas settings, and guide view preferences

We operate no cloud servers for Joqqa, so there is never any automatic upload, sync, or backup of your work to external systems. Any backups of your Joqqa content are only handled by your device's local backup system, which we have no access to.

Device Permissions Explained

Joqqa may request access to certain device features only to enable core editing functionality, and we never use these permissions to collect data:

• Album/Photo Library Access: Only used to let you import existing images into your collage, and save finished PNGs to your gallery. We never read, copy, or upload any photos from your library.
• Camera Access: Only used to let you take new photos directly inside the app for your collages. Photos taken with the Joqqa camera are only saved to your device if you choose to use them, we never store or transmit them.
• Share Sheet Access: Only used to let you share your finished works through your device's built-in sharing system. We do not see or control which apps you share your content with, and no data is sent to us during the sharing process.

Your Control Over Your Content

You retain full ownership of all original collage works you create with Joqqa, for both personal and commercial use, with no restrictions from us.

You have full control over all your data: you can delete individual drafts or saved works directly inside the app at any time, or uninstall Joqqa entirely to erase all content stored in the app's local storage. Any works you have exported to your personal gallery will remain on your device unless you choose to delete them manually.

Policy Updates

We may occasionally update this privacy policy to reflect new feature additions or clarifications of our privacy practices. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy, and notify you through an in-app announcement if the changes are significant.

Your continued use of Joqqa after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
